From March each year we target Southern Bluefin Tuna from Portland and we can cater for your every need when it comes to tailoring a complete Fishing charter package.

We also offer Fishing Tuition. If you have been fishing and not getting results then spend the day with us and we will do our best to educate you on the best techniques to help you catchBluefin Tuna on your own boat. If you have a question our skipper will do his best to help you find the answer and improve your fishing experience.
Wayne is a MASTER 5 skipper and the boat is one of only a few that are fully licensed to travel up to 30 Miles offshore at Portland.

Fish on board our magnificent 30ft plate alloy boat powered by Yamaha 4 Stroke Engines . Fast and mobile to allow us to find you the best fishing possible. The boat is surveyed in 2C for offshore 2D for inshore and is fitted with all the latest equipment and safety gear

Only the best Wilson Live Fibre rods, tackle and bait are provided as part of the package.
All you need to bring is food and drinks, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, wet weather clothing.

FISHING REPORT

Hi all
Well what a massive few days we have had, We managed a Grand Slam on Saturday with 1 Blue Marlin, 1 Black Marlin and 3 Stiped Marlin all in one day! Sunday has been massive and we caught 9 Striped Marlin for the day.
Monday was an awesome day, but, with a serious weather change and full moon closing in, the bite slowed for all boats.
We used the day to experiment with some different teasers and different techniques, resulting
in us raising 4 fish, and capturing a striped Marlin, with a calculated weight of 120kg.

This is an awesome Marlin fishing destination, and just a great place to be.
Its easy to get here so I would urge everyone who wants to get some marlin action to give me a call and get up here.
I have these dates available 9,10,11,12 February
Then 19th ,20th ,21st & 29th February till 4th March.
We are leaving from the best and safest ramp facility we could find at Soldiers Point, about 12 k's inside the bay.
Flights from Melbourne to Newcastle are as cheap as $45 each way, with Nelson Bay only 30 minutes from the airport.
Come a have a go, it's a great chance.
